Arizona Cycling Retreats and Tours:

Tucson, Arizona is considered one of the best road cycling locations in North America (Outside Magazine).  A combination of ideal springtime temperatures of 25C (78F) and 350 days of sunshine per year is why Tucson is a yet to be discovered road riding mecca. 

Tucson is ideally situated for the best road cycling, you will have your choice of flat desert rides, quick steep passes or high mountain climbs.

This March and April 2012  we invite individuals, couples, clubs, cycling teams, groups to begin this years road cycling season from your stunning 4 star Atwell Cycling Retreats, located just west of Tucson in the lush Sonoran Desert. 

  • Each day will start with a Ride Smart Breakfast
  • Then a choice of rides and distances(guided or not). We promise to ride all of the Tucson Classics such as; Sahauro National Monument(43km),  Gates Pass(50Km) and for the brave; The Tucson Shootout(100km) and Mt. Lemon(Lance Armstrong's 1950m(6400ft) training climb). We have many many more rides to choose from.
  • Each day there will be two options suited for most riding abilities.
  • All rides will be van supported and will include lunch. Morning rides will also have a guide at no extra cost.  Mountain biking is also available, please let us know in advance.

Finish your day with a dip in the pool or a soothing hot tub or in-house massage therapy available upon request.  Dinner will be your choice and our guides will be happy to suggest one of Tucson finest.

This winter while most of the North is under a blanket of snow or rain and your bike is hanging in storage, you can be enjoying rides in the warmth of the Arizona Sun.
