  • Handlebar Bag - depends on how much you want to carry
  • Rain Covers for Handlebar Bag (for non-waterproof handle bar bag)
  • Seat / Frame Bag (good for storing tire repair kit or extras)
  • Comfortable Seat (personal choice)
  • Water Bottles+Cages and/or Hydration Pack
  • Cycle Computer (w/ new or extra battery)
  • LED Flashing Tail Light/ head light
  • Mirror (rearview) (mounted on handlebar / helmet)
  • Front + Rear Fenders - optional
  • Bike Lock (key/combo cable should be sufficient; U-Locks or tooheavy)
  • Reflectors (or reflective safety vest or reflective clothes)
  • Bike Tools + Spare Parts
  • Air Pump
  • Patch Kit + Tire Levers

  • Chain Lube
  • Brake Pads (specific to your bike)
  • Spare Tire - we recommend kevlar tires or use tire liners, you will get less flats

Cycling Clothes: (Upon registration for a retreat, you will be notified on what weather to expect, below is a comprehensive list for your consideration)
  • Helmet (proper size & fit) + optional Visor. (Select for Helmet Fitting Guidelines)
  • Cycling Jersey or Synthetic T-Shirt (2-3)
  • Cycling Shorts (1-2 — maybe 3 for long tours)
  • Cycling / Synthetic Underwear [Boxer/Briefs + Sports Bras] (2-3)
  • Cycling Gloves (1 pr. / 2 pair if on long tour)
  • Cycling Socks (Synthetic / Wool; 2-3 pr. i.e. Coolmax )
